Corporate & international tax partner for Deloitte. Within Deloitte, Caroline provides corporate and international tax advice to Tech Companies particularly on inward and outward investment,

Caroline is a Co-Founder of I Wish and embarked on this journey as she could see the opportunity in STEM, but with less than 25% of the STEM workforce in Ireland being women Caroline realised that there was a risk that her own daughter would not participate in the jobs of tomorrow, all she wants for her is equal opportunity of choice.

Gillian Keating leads Ronan Daly Jermyn’s Corporate and Commercial Department and the firm’s Technology and Life Sciences Groups.

Gillian is a Co-founder of I WISH and is passionate about the next generation of young females. Gillian is very focused on how we as a society need to fully enable young women to participate in the economy of the future.

Dr Pixie McKenna

Doctor & Celebrity

Pixie graduated from University College Cork Medical School in 1995.

She is best known for her role in Channel 4’s primetime, BAFTA-winning medical series ‘Embarrassing Bodies’ and Channel 4’s ‘Food Hospital’.

Pixie comes from a family background of medicine, being the third generation of doctors in her family, but only the first female medic!

Paula Kirk recently transferred to Dublin from Arup’s London office where she led Arup’s Cities and Climate Change Consulting Group. She is widely experienced in developing practical solutions to climate change and advising on resilience and sustainable strategies. In her video Paula explains to the students at I Wish that a career in STEM offers the chance to shape the world and make a difference.

Noelle is an Associate Manager for the Biomaterials Research & Development Team in Stryker. In this position in the Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) division, Noelle is responsible for leading a team of scientists in the launch of new biomaterial products, sustaining products currently in the biomaterial portfolio as well as also being involved in the biomaterial product pipeline development for CMF. . Noelle studied Pharmaceutical and Forensic Analysis at Limerick Institute of Technology and is currently completing an Executive Masters in Business Administration at the University of Limerick

Kathy Chou is VP of Research & Development Operations and Central Services for VMware. Chou has more than 25 years of operations and management experience in the high-tech industry.Previously, she has served as SVP of Sales Strategy and Operations for Informatica, VP of Sales Operations and Strategy at Intuit and spent 18 years at HP in various management roles.  While at HP, Chou led the team that won the 2009 Franz Edelman award for outstanding achievement in applied operations research, awarded by the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences.

Commandant Gillian Collins
Defence Forces

Gender Equality and Diversity Advisor with the Irish Defence Forces.

Commandant Collins enlisted in the Defence Forces in 2003 and was commissioned to the Cavalry Corps in 2005. Since then she has been employed in a wide range of appointments at various levels of the organisation including three years as a staff officer with Defence Forces Headquarters Human Resources Branch.

Commandant Collins is a graduate of the University of Limerick, holds a Higher Diploma in Leadership and Defence Studies from Maynooth University and is currently undergoing a Masters in Peace and Conflict with University College Dublin.

Medb Corcoran is the  lead for ‘Accenture Labs’ in Ireland, one of Accenture’s seven key research hubs around the world. Based in Accenture’s The Dock, Medb incubates and prototypes new concepts through applied R&D projects that are expected to have a significant strategic impact on Accenture and its clients. Medb also drives the Artificial Intelligence R&D work for Accenture Labs in Ireland. This involves exploring new ways of addressing critical business problems by applying leading-edge AI techniques, including machine learning, natural language processing, knowledge representation and reasoning.
