Uisce Éireann is investing €60+ million euros in the Scientific and Technical Serveries Programme to deliver the first dedicated National Water Laboratory for Ireland and a centre of excellence for the analysis of drinking water and wastewater. I work in Uisce Eireann in this Programme as the Technical Manager in Metals chemistry laboratories. The new laboratory will deliver many benefits including improved water quality data, regulatory compliance, generate high skilled employment opportunities and increased transparency to the public.
